Job Title: Solar Sales Head – EPC Projects & Trade
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: [Head Office / Multiple Regions]
Reports to: Director / CEO
Team: Country-wide Sales Team (Regional Managers, Executives, and Channel Partners)
Job Purpose
The Solar Sales Head will lead and manage a nationwide sales team to drive growth in both EPC solar projects (industrial, commercial, residential, utility-scale) and solar trade (distribution and retail of solar products). The role is responsible for achieving national sales targets, expanding market presence across regions, building strong corporate and channel relationships, and ensuring sustainable and profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. National Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies for EPC projects and trade business across Pakistan.
- Lead regional sales teams to achieve country-wide revenue and profit targets.
- Build and manage a strong dealer, distributor, and reseller network nationwide.
- Ensure pipeline growth in EPC projects and consistent trade volumes.
2. Market Development & Expansion
- Analyze regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Identify new regions, cities, and sectors for expansion.
- Develop strategic alliances with corporates, government, and institutions.
- Establish presence in untapped markets to strengthen brand positioning.
3. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and mentor regional sales managers and their teams.
- Set KPIs, review performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
- Ensure continuous skill development of the sales force.
4. Client & Partner Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with high-value corporate clients and EPC customers.
- Negotiate contracts, proposals, and pricing strategies.
- Strengthen partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and strategic accounts.
5. Business Execution & Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, project, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee timely project delivery and after-sales support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10–15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in solar EPC and trade, including leadership of multi-regional/national teams.
- Proven success in delivering large EPC projects and expanding trade/distributor networks.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading country-wide sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, business development, and strategic planning skills.
- Deep understanding of solar technologies, EPC project cycles, and solar products distribution.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Pakistan.
