Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and related filings (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines.
  • Maintain and update tax records, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory to optimize tax efficiency within legal frameworks.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and consultants regarding assessments, audits, and notices.
  • Support internal teams with tax-related queries and provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations on tax positions, risks, and exposures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA/ACCA/ICMA part qualified will be an advantage).
  • 1–3 years of relevant tax experience (corporate and/or indirect taxes).
  • Strong understanding of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/tax software.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with regulatory authorities and internal teams.
