Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven
Upwork Bidder
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT services, and the ability to craft persuasive proposals that convert into projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing portals (Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, etc.).
  • Write customized, well-structured, and persuasive proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their requirements and build long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to gather information for accurate project estimation.
  • Negotiate terms, budget, and timelines with clients.
  • Maintain records of leads, proposals, and conversions in a structured format (CRM/Excel).
  • Meet monthly targets for project bidding and closures.
  • Stay updated with market trends and competitors to improve bidding strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Online Bidding Specialist, or Business Development Executive.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with IT services such as
    Web Development, Mobile Apps, SEO, Digital Marketing, UI/UX, or Software Development
    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
