Assistant Manager – Sales Operations
to support and optimize our national sales functions. This role will work closely with the sales, supply chain, and marketing teams to improve sales performance, streamline execution at the ground level, and ensure data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of the sales team across multiple regions
  • Collaborate with field sales teams, distributors, and key accounts
  • Monitor secondary and tertiary sales data to identify trends and gaps
  • Generate timely sales reports and dashboards for leadership
  • Assist in planning trade promotions, schemes, and performance tracking
  • Coordinate demand forecasting and stock availability with the supply chain
  • Maintain accuracy and hygiene of sales data in ERP/CRM systems
  • Track distributor performance, claims, and credit notes
  • Support automation and digitization initiatives for sales processes
  • Train sales teams on new tools, processes, and reporting mechanisms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in FMCG or beverages
  • Working knowledge ERP systems like Sales Pro, Salesforce, etc.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with distributor management systems (DMS) is a plus
