JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Associate Director – Strategy Department: Strategy Location: IAL Saatchi & Saatchi Reports To: Head of Strategy / Strategy Director

  1. Educational Requirements- Minimum 14 years of education in Business, Literature, Arts, Psychology, or Sociology from a reputable institute.

  2. Experience Requirements- 7–10 years of experience in the Strategy function within an advertising agency.

  3. Role Summary The Associate Director, Strategy plays a critical leadership role and serves as the first line of managerial support to the HOD. The role focuses on elevating strategic thinking, developing team capability, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives across the agency.

  4. Key Responsibilities

A. Team Leadership & Coordination- Lead and develop the strategy team through coaching and support.- Manage daily operations including project assignment and deadlines.- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

B. Strategic Planning & Insight Development- Lead strategic discussions and define brand direction.- Understand client industries to identify growth opportunities.- Drive development of brand strategies and campaign planning.- Lead pitches and client projects independently.

C. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Creative and Account teams for strategic alignment. - Serve as the strategic anchor for key client relationships.

D. Innovation & Digital-First Thinking- Promote a digital-first, tech-driven mindset.- Explore new technologies to strengthen insight mining.- Utilize AI tools and prompt-writing for improved workflows.

E. On-Ground Consumer Connection- Stay connected to consumer behavior and market realities.- Encourage the team to understand cultural and consumer shifts.

F. Leadership & Influence- Act as the right hand to the HOD.- Inspire and empower team members.- Elevate the agency's strategic output.
