My city Hospital required qualified and experienced CASHIER/BILLING OFFICER(FEMALE) for ROTATION Shift on FULL time basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Expected hours: 10 hours per day all 03 shifts, 06 days in a week

Job Summary:

The Hospital Cashier is responsible for managing all cash transactions related to patient billing, processing payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall financial operations of the hospital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Receive payments from patients for services rendered (cash, card, or other approved methods).

  • Issue receipts and maintain records of all transactions.

  • Prepare and reconcile daily cash reports and hand over collections to the accounts department.

  • Assist in billing of admitted patients, verifying insurance claims, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Handle refunds, discounts, and adjustments as per hospital policies.

  • Maintain a clean and organized cash counter.

  • Provide courteous and professional service to patients and visitors.

  • Ensure confidentiality of patient financial information.

  • Follow hospital protocols for cash handling and security.

Qualifications:

* Education: Intermediate / Diploma from a recognized university or HEC.

* Experience: Fresh or 01 year working experience of cash handling or accounts department.

Skills:

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-centered care skills.

* Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
