Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager – Accounts will support the Finance & Accounts team in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely financial reporting. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and real estate/land development financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• General Accounting:
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Project Accounting:
Track and record land acquisition costs, development expenses, and project-wise profitability.
Coordinate with project and site teams for expense verification and budgeting.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Monitor and manage vendor payments, contractor bills, and client receivables.
Reconcile accounts and ensure timely disbursements and collections.
• Banking & Treasury:
Manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
Assist in cash flow management and forecasting.
• Taxation & Compliance:
Assist with the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Audit & Controls:
Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Assist in implementing internal controls and financial SOPs.
• MIS & Reporting:
Prepare regular MIS reports for management, including project cash flow statements, budget vs actuals, and other performance indicators.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter, MBA Finance, ACCA or equivalent preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and project accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software (SAP, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience in real estate accounting, including land development, plotting, and construction finance.
• Knowledge of RERA compliance and project financing will be an added advantage.
