Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Manager QA/QC to lead our quality assurance and quality control operations. This role involves managing a team of quality professionals, ensuring strict compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, IEC-61439, IEC-62271), and implementing rigorous quality control measures across our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and IEC standards.

Lead internal audits, quality inspections, and third-party certification processes.

Supervise in-process and final quality checks for LV/MV switchgear and fabrication components.

Oversee routine and type testing, FAT procedures, and documentation.

Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Design, Production, Procurement, Sales, Site Services).

Manage incoming material inspections, fabrication quality checkpoints, and panel assembly controls.

Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.

Track KPIs such as First Pass Yield, Rework Rate, Scrap Rate, Customer Complaint Rate, etc.

Maintain calibration and compliance of lab and testing equipment.

Participate in quality training programs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

Professional certifications in quality (CQE, Six Sigma, CQA) preferred.

8–10 years of quality experience in switchgear/electrical manufacturing; 5+ years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of IEC-61439, IEC-62271, NTDC, WAPDA standards.

Familiarity with ABB audit systems and quality software.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
