Role Description:

Job Description:

  • Assess security posture of client organizations and propose recommendations to improve the posture as per best practices.
  • Perform the vulnerability assessment of IT Infrastructure including wired and wireless network, servers, network attached devices etc.
  • Perform the penetration testing of the IT infrastructure by identifying weaknesses of the network, firmware, processes.
  • Perform the vulnerability assessment of web and mobile applications through blackbox approach.
  • Perform the penetration testing of web applications through the blackbox approach.
  • Set up Wazuh and log collectors, write parsers and integrate devices, local and cloud services, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Write technical report related to proposal, troubleshooting, RCA, GRC specific formats.

Qualification:

A bachelors degree is preferred but not required. Master degree holders may not apply. Focus will be on the skills.

  • Good understanding of networking protocols
  • Good understanding of operating systems
  • Good understanding of web application architecture and frameworks
  • Good understanding of programming languages, databases, web servers, application engines.
  • Good understanding of OWASP top-10 vulnerabilities, CVEs, SANS, ISMS, ISO
  • Good understanding of GRC, CIRT, SOC Analysis, Digital Forensics

Experience:

2-3 year experience in the following:

  • Practical VAPT of IT infrastructure (network, servers etc) and web applications
  • Practical hands on Burp Suite, Nessus, nmap, metasploit, FTK, aircrack-ng, L2/L3/L7 network attacks, encryption/decryption, memory overflow, OSINT/ deep web data extraction, risk registers etc.
  • Practical hands on cybersecurity solutions like ZTA, PAM, EDR etc

Training/ Certifications:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker

Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required to visit clients.
