Role Overview

As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the software development lifecycle by designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and project managers. You'll be responsible for both manual and automated testing, ensuring our products deliver seamless experiences for users across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and run automated test scripts for regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs; verify fixes and provide detailed reports.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies as needed.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance (manual + automation).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
  • Familiarity with APIs and experience using tools like Postman for API testing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA integrates into DevOps.
  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Exposure to mobile app testing (iOS & Android).
