Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Intern to join our development team. This internship is ideal for fresh graduates who are looking to kickstart their careers in web development and gain hands-on experience in managing and building WordPress websites.

As a WordPress Intern, you will assist our developers and designers in creating and maintaining websites for clients, while learning about industry best practices and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, editing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Perform basic content updates, layout formatting, and site configurations.
  • Help with testing and troubleshooting website issues.
  • Support in implementing responsive and SEO-friendly design practices.
  • Collaborate with the development and design teams to deliver client projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (recently completed or awaiting final results).
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
  • Exposure to basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma).
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
