Job Purpose:

The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, minimizing stock variances, and supporting smooth retail operations. The role involves monitoring inventory movement, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and branch staff to optimize stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate inventory records in the system (Shopify).

· Track, monitor, and update stock levels daily.

· Ensure timely replenishment of products to avoid stockouts.

· Manage damaged, expired, or returned goods as per company policy.

· Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly stock audits.

· Identify stock discrepancies and investigate root causes.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.

· Recommend corrective actions to minimize shrinkage and losses.

· Coordinate with procurement/supply chain for stock requests and transfers.

· Work closely with branch sales executives and store staff for stock requirements.

· Support logistics team in verifying incoming/outgoing stock.

· Assist in product labeling, coding, and proper shelf placement when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

· 2–3 years of experience in inventory management/retail stock control.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/POS systems such as Shopify.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Conditions:
