AM Cost controlling will lead the costing function of organization. He will be responsible for product costing, profitability and sensitivity analysis related to product / manufacturing. He is expected to execute SAP S4 product costing and overhead costing for multiple production site of company centrally. Ensure effective costing benchmark and track actual results.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Be an advisor to Business Head and production team
  • Resilient to management with regular and ad-hoc business reporting
  • Affective in communication across function to prove and convince business viability
  • Highlights abnormality in terms of SKU wise cost and profitability with deep analysis and reasons

Operation Manager

  • Responsible to execute Cost Estimates monthly for existing and new articles and closing [ML Run] in SAP
  • Responsible to review and reconcile Material Consumption, Standard Cost against actual and Overhead (Manufacturing) cost
  • Master data management, data correction in SAP, and Creation of Profit center and cost center
  • Controlling of Average Prices of Inventory (raw material / Finished Goods)

Financial Reporting

  • Review and analyze Product Costing SKU wise and timely update Activity Rates in SAP
  • Present Ad-hoc analysis for management's decision and keep on highlighting Gaps and opportunities in process improvement
  • Responsible to prepare, analyze and take correction action on Variance Analysis
  • Prepare Annual Master Budget and update in SAP for all sites / units
  • Finalization of monthly COGS and present to FC
  • Responsible to review of Operational Expense, get correction with production and financial team
  • Finalize expense absorption / allocation / apportionment of Operational Expense (OPEX / Overhead) in SAP
  • Prepare SKU wise Margin reports for daily update
  • Prepare and Compile Unit / Site wise P&L statement
  • Reconcile GLs for COGS and P&L Statement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or Qualified professional (CMA/ACCA)
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in function of Cost and Management accounting
  • Well versed with SAP S4 Costing and Material Management
