Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position based in Lahore for a Risk Assets Reviewer in the Internal Audit department of Askari Bank. The primary responsibilities include reviewing credit portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, assessing credit risk, and providing recommendations to mitigate potential risks. The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of credit assessments and related documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of credit risk management, portfolio reviews, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in auditing, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  • Analytical thinking, good decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and prior experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CA are a plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
