We are hiring Wet Utility Engineer

Location: DHA Phase 08

  • Design and review wet utility networks, including water supply, irrigation, sewerage, and stormwater drainage systems.
  • Prepare and verify design drawings, hydraulic calculations, and technical reports in line with local and international standards.
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines (roads, structural, electrical, dry utilities, etc.) to ensure proper utility integration.
  • Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material submittals for technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with authorities and stakeholders for design approvals, NOCs, and technical clarifications.
  • Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and resolving site-related utility conflicts.
  • Ensure that designs meet sustainability, safety, and quality standards.
  • Support the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQs), tender documents, and design reports.
  • Participate in progress meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in the design and coordination of wet utility systems for infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD).
  • Strong understanding of design standards and authority regulations (ASHGHAL, DM, DEWA, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven approach.
