We are now looking for a Sales Engineer
to act as the technical bridge between Propomy and the real estate professionals, investors, API/data partners, and enterprise clients we serve.
Role Overview
As Propomy's Sales Engineer, you will combine technical expertise
with
client engagement
to help evaluate customer needs, run product demos, validate technical feasibility, and coordinate with engineering as we integrate new data sources and build enterprise-level features. You'll help shape our go-to-market strategy, support early customers, and be one of the first customer-facing hires in a high-growth AI startup.
What You'll Do
- Conduct
technical product demos
for realtors, brokerages, investors, SaaS partners, and enterprise clients. - Translate customer requirements into clear product/technical specifications for the engineering team.
- Support API integration discussions with data vendors (e.g., RealEstateAPI, Attom).
- Help evaluate technical questions about API limits, latency, data coverage, licensing, and scaling.
- Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and workflow explanations for customers.
- Troubleshoot early customer issues, working with engineering to identify and resolve bugs or edge cases.
- Assist in RFPs, proposals, pricing models, and enterprise onboarding plans.
- Gather product feedback and work with product/engineering to refine MVP features and roadmap.
- Attend virtual events, webinars, and demos to represent Propomy's technical capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Pre-Sales role.
- Strong understanding of APIs, JSON data, web applications, and cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to translate technical details into simple, clear business value.
- Exceptional communication skills—presenting, demoing, and simplifying complex concepts.
- Experience in real estate, fintech, proptech, or SaaS is a
strong plus
. - Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving product requirements.
- Self-driven, organized, and excited to help build something from the ground up.
