Finance & Compliance Manager (International Operations)

We are a growing technology services company that works with clients across North America and other global regions. Our operations involve international billing, export of services, and cross-border transactions. We are expanding our financial and legal setup internationally to support smooth global operations and compliance.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Compliance Manager (International Operations) to oversee the setup and management of our international business and financial structure. The role involves handling company formation, tax compliance, and cross-border financial processes to ensure smooth international operations and long-term financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company registration and structuring in relevant jurisdictions
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for compliance and reporting requirements.
- Handle EIN/Tax ID applications, banking setup, and corporate documentation.
- Advise on and implement international tax-efficient structures while ensuring full compliance.
- Manage cross-border payment channels and ensure alignment with local and foreign regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, reports, and financial statements in accordance with international standards.
- Ensure compliance with foreign remittance and anti–money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors as needed.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management regarding international operations and risk management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international finance, taxation, or corporate compliance.
- Experience in IT/Software industry is a must
Strong understanding of:
- Cross-border taxation and company structuring.
- Corporate registration procedures in major jurisdictions (Pakistan, U.S., UAE).
- Export and remittance compliance.
- Experience with business banking and financial systems (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA.
- Experience managing finances for international service or technology companies.
- Familiarity with global payment systems (e.g., Wise, Payoneer, Stripe, etc.).
- Knowledge of double taxation agreements and foreign ownership structures.
