Our client (Lahore Based), a leading textile manufacturing and export organization, is seeking an accomplished professional to lead its
Import, Export & Trade Compliance (IMPEX)
function. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned executive with the capability to ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth in global trade operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all import, export, and trade compliance activities.
  • Lead the transformation and automation of IMPEX processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance controls aligned with best practices.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with freight forwarders, C&F agents, and shipping lines to optimize performance and costs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements of SBP, Customs, FBR, and relevant international trade regulations.
  • Develop and nurture high-performing teams to support the company's global trade agenda.

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in IMPEX, preferably within textile export composite units.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Pakistan Customs, PSW, WeBOC, and export incentive schemes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, drive organizational change, and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
