Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Islamabad for a Regional Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator. The MEAL Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of project monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring accountability and learning across all programmatic activities. Key tasks include developing and implementing M&E frameworks, conducting field visits to gather data, compiling reports, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and facilitating learning sessions to share best practices and lessons learned. Additionally, the Coordinator will work closely with field teams and partners to enhance the impact and effectiveness of the projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in developing M&E frameworks and tools
  • Competency in data collection, analysis, and reporting methods
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and data analysis software, such as SPSS or STATA
  • Experience in conducting field visits, community engagement, and participatory evaluation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in facilitating learning sessions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with humanitarian principles and standards, such as SPHERE and CHS, is a plus
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
