— capable of validating backend services, inspecting logs, running SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a
QA Engineer

with strong
manual and structural testing

expertise to validate backend services, data integrity, and API workflows within a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will combine traditional QA discipline with technical curiosity — inspecting logs, executing test queries, and verifying data consistency directly from the backend.

Key Responsibilities

Perform
manual testing

of backend features and workflows in a Linux-based environment.

Conduct
structural testing

by:

  • Navigating
    Linux command line

to access logs and configurations.
- Validating backend functionality developed in
Go

.
- Executing and verifying data integrity in
PostgreSQL

and
SQLite

databases.
- Document, reproduce, and track defects systematically

Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues efficiently.

Participate in regression and integration testing before deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years

of QA experience with both
manual

and
technical/structural testing

- Proficiency with
Linux commands

, log inspection, and basic shell scripting.
- Experience with "Git"
- Hands-on experience testing
Go-based applications

- Strong understanding of
PostgreSQL

and
SQLite

for data validation.
- Publish and document user guides.
- Ability to analyze API responses using command-line tools (e.g.,

- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines

version control (Git)

- Comfortable working independently during evening hours (8:00 PM – 1:00 AM PKT).


Nice to have:
