Human Resources Manager

Job Objective
The Manager HR is responsible in overseeing the daily HR functions, ensuring effective administration of HR systems, recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and other HR operations. The role requires a high degree of responsibility in managing HR processes, supporting employee needs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR service delivery including onboarding, attendance management, shift scheduling, payroll interface, and exit formalities.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and enforce Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols for 24x7 operations.
- Maintain audit readiness for client and regulatory inspections through robust documentation and process adherence.
- Monitor and report on HR Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely resolution of employee queries and escalations.
- Manage and optimize the Human Resource Management System (ODOO) for accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of requests related to ID creation and employee access management/Inclusions/Employee ID cards.
Strategic HR
- Translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies including manpower planning, retention forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Contribute to board-level reporting through HR analytics dashboards and strategic insights.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives aligned with client and global standards.
Leadership Development & Succession Planning
- Shadow the CEO/Director HR on strategic initiatives, policy formulation, and organizational planning.
- Represent the HR function in client interactions, ISO audits, and executive-level reviews.
- Serve as the designated backup to the Director HR, with a clear path to promotion based on performance and leadership readiness.
Employee Documentation and Verification
- Lead the preparation, issuance, and management of all necessary documentation for new hires, including contracts, onboarding forms, and policies.
- Oversee the seamless onboarding process by collaborating with relevant departments to ensure timely document submission and processing for new employees.
- Coordinate the issuance of Associate ID badges and manage related administrative processes.
- Handle background verification requests for former employees and assist with bank verification processes.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Drive recruitment efforts, including drafting job descriptions, posting openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interview schedules.
- Prepare offer letters, negotiate terms, and onboard selected candidates.
- Ensure seamless communication between hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Monitor the status of hiring and provide regular updates to HR leadership regarding recruitment pipelines.
- Collaborate with the HR team to enhance talent acquisition strategies and improve the overall candidate experience.
Employee Relations & Grievance Management
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring confidentiality and a fair approach when resolving grievances.
- Assist in the implementation of employee engagement activities that align with company values and culture.
- Maintain an open-door policy to support associates, fostering positive relationships and a collaborative work environment.
- Support HR initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention, conducting surveys or feedback sessions as needed
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll-related tasks, including attendance verification, overtime, and leave balances.
- Conduct market research on best practices of compensation & benefits salary survey and benchmarking for Synercon employees.
- Support benefits administration, including medical, dental, insurance, and other employee perks.
- Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any payroll discrepancies and address queries from employees regarding benefits.
Administrative & Policy Implementation Support
- Coordinate HR meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on key action items.
- Support HR policy enforcement by ensuring smooth communication of new or updated policies to all associates.
- Assist in the rollout and training of new policies or changes in processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR policies align with overall business objectives and are implemented effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Track and report key HR metrics (e.g., recruitment time-to-fill, employee turnover, engagement scores) to support decision-making and performance reviews.
- Continuously assess and suggest improvements in HR processes to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and organizational alignment.
- Contribute to the development of HR strategies, aligning HR practices with business goals and workforce needs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes
Education
- Bachelor's / Master Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Skills
- Strong talent acquisition skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Technical knowledge of HRIS and other related programs desired.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to keep sensitive employee information confidential.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- High level of initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
Duration and Nature of Previous Experience
- Minimum 3-5 year experience in personnel administration or Human Resources.
- Minimum 1 year in HR managerial roles with direct accountability for strategic HR functions.
