Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic
HR Generalist

to support the HR function at PAR while collaborating closely with our US-based partner, DPS. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about building a long-term career in human resources.

As an HR Generalist, you will gain hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. In our fast-paced startup environment, you'll play a key role in shaping HR practices, supporting talent acquisition and development, and fostering a collaborative culture. This position offers direct exposure to US teams and the opportunity to grow into leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment, Onboarding & Talent Development

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies using the Topgrading methodology to hire high-performing candidates.
  • Post jobs on platforms (Rozee, LinkedIn, Indeed) and maintain a proactive talent pipeline.
  • Screen candidates, conduct structured interviews, coordinate final interviews, and perform reference checks.
  • Manage onboarding, including offer letters, documentation, orientation, and MTO/internship programs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to design training plans and address skills gaps.

2. Performance Management & Employee Relations

  • Design and manage OKRs, KPIs, and appraisal frameworks.
  • Monitor probation reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Conduct employee check-ins and support performance evaluations.
  • Address grievances to ensure a fair and transparent workplace.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.

3. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Oversee payroll processing, salary structures, increments, and benefits compliance (e.g., Provident Fund, EOBI).
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and working hours with accurate reporting.
  • Maintain employee documentation (contracts, NDAs, letters).
  • Manage office administration, including IT assets and supplies.

4. Policies, Compliance & Culture

  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal processes.
  • Organize engagement programs, team events, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Maintain organizational charts and HR data aligned with departmental needs.

5. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare HR reports on hiring, performance, payroll, and compliance.
  • Manage system access and communication platforms (Odoo, email).
  • Liaise with Pakistan and US teams, occasionally joining meetings outside standard hours when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of HR or relevant experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with high adaptability.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to engage with international stakeholders.
