JA LEGAL invites a senior Corporate/Transactional Lawyer to join as a Platform Partner on a revenue-share basis—retaining independence while leveraging with the brand, infrastructure, and client pipeline. This is not an employment role; it's an entrepreneurial seat for a lawyer building (or spinning out) a corporate practice with the support of a top litigation & disputes platform.

Cross-Sell Bench:
Deep disputes team to support corporate clients in investigations, injunctions, regulatory and commercial litigation.

Economics:

Pure revenue-share. Transparent fee collection through firm systems; lawyer-favored split (e.g., 80/20 in lawyer's favor on self-originated matters) and structured tiers for firm-originated or co-sourced work. Exact split is mutually agreed based on originations, utilization of resources, and support needs.

Partners bill under JA LEGAL brand and comply with firm policies and applicable bar rules.

Ideal Profile

  • 8+ years post-qualification in M&A, JVs, restructurings, cross-border work, and complex commercial contracting. Share/asset deals; venture/PE financings; shareholder/JV arrangements; distribution/franchise/tech & IP licensing; governance and restructuring; regulatory filings/clearances.
  • Comfort with corporate structures, taxation touchpoints, and execution before SECP, Board of Investment, Competition Commission of Pakistan, and sectoral regulators of Pakistan.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and manage clients, run deals end-to-end, and mentor juniors.
  • Clear, timely drafting/negotiation; business-minded, ethical, and collaborative.
