Gatronova is seeking an experienced and visionary
Head of IT Operations
to lead our IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Service Management functions across the organization. This position plays a strategic role in ensuring the seamless integration of IT and OT (Operational Technology), managing mission-critical systems, SAP landscapes, datacenters, and connectivity between our head office, plants, and remote sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to align IT strategies with organizational goals while ensuring compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Develop and execute enterprise IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and best practices.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of IT systems, including networks, SAP landscapes, datacenters, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery (DR) services.
  • Oversee service management processes to ensure reliable IT operations aligned with ITIL standards.
  • Ensure secure and efficient connectivity across head office, plants, and remote locations.
  • Evaluate and implement infrastructure upgrades, new technologies, and configurations to support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with SAP teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for upgrades and new implementations.

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery

  • Manage IT operations including service desk, user support, IT security operations, and OT systems.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT and OT systems, including DR and backup services.
  • Drive proactive monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability management across environments.
  • Implement service management tools to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency.

Financial Management & Strategic Planning

  • Develop and manage IT & OT budgets, balancing CAPEX and OPEX requirements.
  • Create and execute annual IT plans and roadmaps, ensuring scalability and future readiness.
  • Develop capacity and resource plans aligned with business growth.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management for IT & OT teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Drive training, talent acquisition, and professional development to build high-performing teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Master's in Computer Science / Information Technology OR MBA (Technology Management).

Professional Certifications (preferred):

  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • CCIE – Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert
  • VCP-DCV – VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization
  • PMP – Project Management Professional
  • ITIL Master Certification
  • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager

Experience:

  • Minimum
    12–15 years of progressive IT leadership experience
    , including infrastructure, operations, and service management.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise IT systems, SAP landscapes, and IT/OT integration.
  • Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, strategic planning, and budget management.
