About the Role
We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with an extreme ownership mentality and a track record of building and scaling test automation systems in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This is a high-impact role focused on quality, reliability, and speed. You'll be instrumental in establishing our automated testing infrastructure, reducing manual QA cycles, and ensuring every release is rock solid.

What You'll Do
- Own the development and maintenance of automated test suites for web applications (frontend and backend).
- Create and manage end-to-end, integration, API, and regression tests using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and Jest.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to define test plans, edge cases, and acceptance criteria for new features.
- Proactively identify bugs and issues before releases through automation, exploratory testing, and CI/CD integration.
- Ensure complete test coverage across our core flows (rebates, sweepstakes, registration, data collection).
- Build QA dashboards and reporting systems to track release quality, test coverage, and flakiness trends.
- Continuously evolve test architecture and processes to keep pace with our rapid release cycles.
- Help instill a quality mindset across the team, contributing to a culture of ownership and accountability.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in QA with at least 3 years focused on automation in modern SaaS environments.
- Deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based test frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Jest.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience implementing QA in CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of frontend/backend architecture and modern web stacks (React, , MongoDB preferred).
- Familiarity with bug tracking, test case management, and documentation tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Notion).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Bonus: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., Artillery, k6).
- Bonus: Prior experience in an early-stage startup or SaaS company.
