Siddique Ice & Cold Storage operates an ammonia-based refrigeration plant in Islamabad, Pakistan. We specialize in cold storage, block ice manufacturing, and in-house engineering services. Our team supports a diverse set of industrial operations, combining reliability with innovation.

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan / Remote

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 3-6 months (depending on complexity)

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audit of Odoo inventory accounting
  • Identify and document all erroneous stock valuation entries, orphaned transactions, and accounting mismatches
  • Reconcile stock movements with corresponding journal entries and valuation layers
  • Correct historical inventory accounting data to ensure accurate profit & loss statements
  • Generate corrected balance sheets with proper inventory valuations
  • Provide detailed documentation of all corrections made and recommendations for future processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Odoo
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Expert knowledge of inventory accounting, stock valuation methods (FIFO, AVCO, Standard Cost)
  • Strong understanding of Pakistani accounting standards and tax implications
  • Experience with large-scale data correction and financial reconciliation projects

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with Odoo technical modules and database queries
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/industrial accounting practices

Work Arrangement

  • Remote/Hybrid (occasional on-site meetings in Islamabad may be required)
