Description
  1. Manage& administer Bank's network and meeting agreed SLAs and service uptime. The role also required functioning in the IT infrastructure related projects and timely execution of the tasks with desired output.
Responsibilities
  • Administration & maintenance of Network infrastructure and Wireless Infrastructure and assuring high level of service availability.
  • Managing network service incidents efficiently and assuring high system uptime.
  • Implementing pro-active measures to identify potential issues in the data networking platform and fixing the exceptions as and when required. 
  • Working with the vendors and suppliers that provide staff outsourcing, network equipment, hardware support, software, and leased carrier services .
  • Investigate, recommend and install enhancements that optimize network availability& performance.
  • Assisting with the enhancement of the network in accordance with the ICT strategic plan, in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
  • Assisting with the development of billing analysis/trending and tracking control measures within the telephony/leased carrier services area.

Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications

Technical Skills: -

1.   At least 8 years of experience in enterprise level IT Network infrastructure. Banking domain preferred.

2.   Excellent technical knowledge in Routing and Switching Technologies, cloud networking, SDN, SDWAN, SD Access. 

3.   Expert knowledge and experience on WAN routing. ( BGP,OSPF,DMVPN,IPSEC,GRE)

4.   Handson experience on Azure and AWS networking components. NLB, NSG,VWAN,Front door, UDR,VNET etc

5.   Hands on experience on design and architecting network setup

6.   Hands on experience on Cloud services router and routing protocols

7.   Experience on multi cloud networking design and support

8.   Deep troubleshooting knowledge and experience. Hands-on on Wireshark.

9.   Core knowledge on TCP/IP 

10. Hands-on experience on end point network security. (dot1x, NAC, port security, ISE, ARP inspection etc)

11. Working knowledge on Solarwinds , PRTG network tools.

12. Sound understanding and knowledge on cloud firewalling technologies.

13. CCIE – Enterprise or Datacenter certification is Preferred. 

14. CCNP certifications is a must.

15. Solution Architect certifications in domain of Cloud (preferred). 

16. Deep understanding in Information Security. CISSP certifications (desirable)

17. Ability to understand and work in a multicultural environment.

18. An excellent understanding of team dynamics.

19. Execution and results-focused: Proven ability to set and meet aggressive goals/timelines.

20. Highly motivated team player with a collaborative working style, capable of working with a diverse team

21. Customer centric focused & service-oriented approach

Service Management: -

  • Sound understanding on ITIL process for change, incident and problem management.Certifications preferred

Project Management:-

  • Well versed with project management methodology.
  • Certifications like PMP, Prince (desirable)
