Job Description – Computer Operator / Accountant

Campus:Gulshan-e-Maymar

Position Overview:

The Computer Operator / Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, data entry, record keeping, and providing administrative and IT-related support. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency in managing financial data and office records.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations including vouchers, receipts, payments, and petty cash.

Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and financial reports.

Handle fee collection, reconciliation, and deposit records.

Perform data entry, record maintenance, and documentation in school management software.

Generate monthly reports (fee summaries, expense reports, payroll support, etc.).

Assist in preparing budgets and financial statements.

Maintain student and staff records in the database.

Provide support for administrative tasks such as typing, correspondence, and filing.

Operate office equipment (computers, printers, scanners) and troubleshoot minor IT issues.

Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with school policies.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience (school/educational institution experience preferred).

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP/School Management System preferred).

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Typing speed and accuracy.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Other: Integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail are a must.
