About the Role

Cosmo is looking for a
PR & Media Relations Executive
to drive earned media coverage and elevate our visibility as an industry thought leader in the US market. This role is focused on
relationship-driven PR
—building trust with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure valuable media placements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor HARO, Cision, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and industry publications daily for media opportunities.
  • Build authentic, long-term relationships with US journalists and editors.
  • Pitch story ideas, expert commentary, and thought leadership pieces—sometimes subtly, sometimes directly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to source quotes, data, and expert opinions for media responses.
  • Prospect and engage potential US-based B2B clients (tech, SaaS, healthcare, etc.) for PR services.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in PR, media relations, or journalism, with a track record of securing earned media placements.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Strong media pitching and relationship management abilities.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working with tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in research and content development for journalist engagement.
  • Proficient in social listening and trend-spotting across media platforms.
  • Experience in business development and client prospecting within US B2B markets

Salary:
PKR 70, ,000/month (depending on experience).
