Role Overview

The Senior Email Marketing Specialist will own the end-to-end email marketing function – from strategy and content creation to execution and deliverability. This role requires a mix of
strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and deep technical knowledge of SFMC
. You will be responsible for ensuring our campaigns not only reach inboxes but also drive measurable engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning:
    Develop and execute email marketing strategies aligned with business goals, customer journeys, and lifecycle stages.
  • SFMC Expertise:
    Manage campaigns end-to-end in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience segmentation.
  • Email Creation & Copywriting:
    Write compelling, conversion-driven email copy with a strong understanding of audience targeting, tone, and engagement.
  • Deliverability Management:
    Monitor and optimize deliverability, sender reputation, and inbox placement across ESPs.
  • Testing & Optimization:
    Run A/B and multivariate tests (subject lines, content, CTAs, send times) and implement learnings to improve campaign performance.
  • Data & Analytics:
    Track, analyze, and report on email KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue impact) to stakeholders.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all campaigns meet GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email compliance standards.
  • Leadership:
    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, sales, product).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience
    in email marketing, with at least
    3+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    email deliverability, sender reputation management, and inbox placement optimization
    .
  • Strong
    copywriting skills
    with the ability to craft engaging and high-converting emails.
  • Deep understanding of
    email marketing best practices
    , customer segmentation, personalization, and automation.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience using
    SFMC analytics and reporting tools
    .
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience in a
    senior or lead role
    , demonstrating ownership and leadership.
