Senior Email Marketing Specialist
who can own our email marketing strategy end-to-end and drive measurable results through cutting-edge tools and practices.

Role Overview:

The Senior Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for designing and executing high-impact email marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads, improve deliverability rates, and maximize ROI. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative, and experienced in working with tools like
Salesforce Marketing Cloud
,
Instantly
, and other industry-leading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns focused on
    lead generation, nurturing, and conversion
    .
  • Manage
    end-to-end campaign execution
    : strategy, segmentation, content briefs, design collaboration, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure
    high deliverability rates
    through list hygiene, IP warming, sender reputation monitoring, authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and ongoing optimization.
  • Utilize
    Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    for automation, personalized journeys, dynamic content, triggered campaigns, and advanced reporting.
  • Leverage
    Instantly
    and other outbound tools to design
    multi-touch cold email campaigns
    for outreach and lead generation.
  • Conduct
    A/B testing
    on subject lines, send times, segmentation strategies, and content to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and content teams to align messaging with overall business objectives and audience personas.
  • Analyze and report campaign performance using KPIs such as open rates, CTR, deliverability, conversions, and ROI; provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current on
    email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
    and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Continuously explore and adopt emerging trends and technologies to stay ahead of the curve in email marketing innovation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience in email marketing with a proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise in
    Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio)
    and other enterprise ESPs.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Instantly
    or similar outbound email tools for cold outreach.
  • Deep understanding of
    email deliverability, inbox placement strategies
    , and reputation management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and optimize based on data.
  • Strong understanding of
    email copywriting best practices
    and ability to collaborate with content/design teams.
  • Knowledge of
    email compliance regulations
    (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices for permission-based marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM integrations, list segmentation, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a
    fast-paced startup environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
  • Experience with additional tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or other automation platforms.
  • Experience in
    B2B SaaS or service-based industries
    targeting international markets.
