We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Officer at our Giga Mall Islamabad office with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to support our organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer networks, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT operations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
  • Ensure data security, backups, and recovery procedures are in place and functioning.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, purchases, and support when required.
  • Keep inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and tools relevant to the organization's needs.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support or IT administration role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Experience with Office 365, antivirus, backup solutions, and IT security tools.
  • Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) is a plus.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40, Rs50,000.00 per month

  • Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
