We are looking for a Solutions Architect to drive the architectural vision and technical strategy for our complex Title Production System.

  • This system is built using Java, MS SQL Server, Wildfly, JBPM, Hibernate, while modernization efforts incorporate Angular and Spring Boot.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in these or relevant technologies, along with deep experience in scalable architectures, enterprise system design, and cloud solutions.
  • This role requires hands-on technical leadership, working closely with development teams, practice leads,
  • and delivery managers to ensure the system's performance, maintainability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Architectural Strategy & Design

  2. Define and implement the architecture roadmap for the Title Production System, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

  3. Drive the modernization efforts by transitioning legacy components to Spring Boot and Angular.
  4. Establish best practices for software design and system integrations.
  5. Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

2. Technical Leadership & Governance

Define and enforce architectural guidelines and governance across development teams.

Ensure best practices for database design, API development, and cloud architecture.

Provide guidance on performance optimization, security best practices, and fault tolerance.

3. Hands-on Solutioning & PoCs

  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to evaluate new frameworks, technologies, and integrations.
  • Guide engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges.
  • Ensure seamless integration of third-party systems, cloud services, and DevOps pipelines.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Technical Delivery Managers, Practice Leads, and Engineering Managers to align on technical strategy.
  • Act as a key technical liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Cloud & DevOps Enablement

  • Guide teams on Azure DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipeline optimization.
  • Recommend and oversee cloud infrastructure improvements.
  • Advocate for microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

  • 12+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise application design.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MS SQL Server, Wildfly, JBPM, Hibernate.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular or other frontend frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience designing scalable, high-performance, and secure enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience in microservices architecture, event-driven design, and API management.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-based decision systems.
  • Familiarity with data streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Exposure to enterprise security frameworks and compliance best practices.
