Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain network devices such as core network routers, switches, firewalls, RF devices etc. at head office as well at remote locations to ensure delivery of all IT services
- Troubleshooting and/or debugging all Wide Area Network related issues and escalate them to supervisor to ensure system availability and reliability
- Keep updated with the status shown by network monitoring systems for timely logging of Fiber/ Wireless related complains to the vendor
- Receiving and resolving queries related to communication links, troubleshooting and providing real time support to ensure that corporate network services are properly running
- Implementing new functionalities/network enhancement assigned by Network Administrator in their particular network segments to ensure systems are up to date
- Monitoring, administering and diagnosing WAN links using approved Network monitoring tools like Whatsapp Gold for rectification WAN complains on timely basis
- Maintaining and reviewing logs of network devices and report network administrator for any abnormality to ensure timely detection of any malware or intrusions
- Troubleshooting and Resolving LAN and connectivity problems to ensure smooth operations
- Need assessment against the requests from end users for the issuance of PCs, printers and other peripherals to ensure timely delivery of IT peripherals to end users
- To monitor Complete LAN / WAN through monitoring system to proactively troubleshoot network problems
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder, preferably in IT or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-4 years of related functional experience in a similar role.
Requirements
- Developing and using Collaborative Cross Functional relationships across business functions and IT departments to accomplish objectives
- Preferable Networks related Certification
- Understanding SAP Business transactions related to IT
- Strong relationship building skills to coordinate with other departments and vendors

- The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
