We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Junior Accounts Officer
to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and support monthly closings and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial systems.

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into the accounting software.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring that entries are correct and supported with valid documentation.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing etc.
  • Prepare and issue cheques or online payments for vendor dues, staff reimbursements, and other disbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including MIS reports for management.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, track bank and cash balances, and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial records for audit readiness and compliance.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve financial queries and ensure proper documentation and communication.
  • Adhere to internal controls, accounting standards, and financial compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    BS, BBA
    Accounting & Finance,
    B.com or M.com
  • Experience:
    6 month to 1 year of solid Accounting experience is required.

Required Skills:

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Fast Accounting or ERP systems is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently
