About the Role:

Genx Integrated Systems, a leading software house located in Lahore, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Accountant Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, including transactions, and preparing accurate profit and loss statements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting principles and proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Peachtree, Quickbooks or similar platforms.

Office Timings: 1PM - 10PM ( Mon - Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Management: Maintain and manage comprehensive financial records. Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Profit and Loss Statements: Regularly prepare, analyze, and present accurate profit and loss statements. Identify financial trends and provide insights for improving financial performance.
  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Peachtree, Quickbooks or similar bookkeeping software. Utilize software to streamline accounting processes and maintain accurate financial data.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Analyze budget variances and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Communicate financial insights to management to aid in decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.

  • Proficiency in Peachtree, Quickbooks or similar accounting software.

- Good command in Spoken and Written English is a must.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
