Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and systems comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role involves monitoring production, conducting audits, reviewing documentation, and implementing continuous improvements to maintain product safety, quality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
  • Review and approve SOPs, batch records, and quality-related documentation.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks, inspections, and audits across production lines.
  • Investigate non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Train staff on quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports for management and regulatory audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance (FMCG/Pharma).
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
