Responsibilities

Cost Estimation

  • Review and analyze customer inquiries, drawings, and specifications for packaging projects.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor,printing, finishing, and logistics.
  • Develop competitive and accurate quotations within defined turnaround times.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases for materials and production processes.
  • Ensure all estimates are aligned with company pricing policies and margin targets.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the sales team to clarify customer requirements and support proposal development.
  • Liaise with design and production teams to assess feasibility, lead times, and manufacturing methods.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to obtain up-to-date material costs and supplier quotes.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate job costing and order setup.

Process & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and final quotations in the estimating system or ERP.
  • Analyze past estimates and actual job costs to identify variances and improve future accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting cost optimization opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Packaging Technology, Industrial Engineering, Graphic Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in estimating within the packaging industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60, Rs80,000.00 per month
