Technical Recruiter

droppGroup is hiring a Technical Recruiter who can own the hiring funnel end to end. You will hunt, screen, and close for roles across AI, Web3, and immersive ecosystems. No copy-paste job posts, no blind forwarding. You turn vague headcount requests into sharp scorecards, build real pipelines, and protect the talent bar without slowing delivery. You will work directly with hiring managers across regions, keep the process tight, communication sharper, and make sure only builders make it through.
Preference will be given to applicants who are currently unemployed and are actively looking for a role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for technical and tech-adjacent roles across engineering, product, design, data, and operations.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role scorecards, non negotiables, and evaluation criteria, and push back when requirements are unclear.
- Source proactively through LinkedIn, GitHub, Behance, communities, referrals, and direct outreach instead of waiting for inbound.
- Run structured screening calls that test for real execution, not just good talk, and filter out passengers early in the process.
- Design and coordinate interview loops, including assignments, technical interviews, debriefs, and calibration across time zones.
- Keep candidates informed at every stage, maintaining a professional candidate experience without overpromising.
- Maintain clean, accurate pipelines across ATS and ClickUp with clear notes, next steps, and status for every candidate.
- Build and maintain talent pools for recurring roles, keeping high value candidates warm even when there is no live opening.
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, offer to acceptance ratio, and drop off points.
- Draft and refine job descriptions, outreach sequences, and employer brand content aligned with droppGroup's voice.
- Work closely with People and Operations on offers, contracts, and smooth handover into onboarding.
- Use AI tools to accelerate sourcing, research, first draft outreach, and screening support, while keeping final judgment in your hands.
- Continuously refine recruiting workflows, templates, and interview practices to cut friction and raise hiring quality.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on recruiting experience for engineering and technical roles in fast-moving or global organizations.
- Proven track record of closing mid to senior technical roles remotely, with clear examples of hard roles you have filled.
- Strong understanding of software development roles and modern stacks (for example React, , TypeScript, Python) and ability to read portfolios and GitHub profiles with basic literacy.
- Experience hiring across functions such as product, design, data, and marketing in addition to core engineering.
- High proficiency with sourcing tools, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities, aggressive timelines, and shifting hiring needs without losing discipline.
- Able to challenge vague requirements, push for clarity, and still keep relationships healthy with hiring managers.
- Data comfortable, able to work with simple dashboards and reports to adjust sourcing focus and process.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus. Results and track record matter more than the major.
- Willingness to work extended hours when hiring cycles peak and to travel or relocate for key business or hiring engagements when required.
