The Position
We are seeking to hire a
Junior Software Developer
to join our R&D team. The selected candidate will work closely with senior developers and technical leads in building, enhancing, and maintaining mobile and web-based applications using React Native and PHP. This position will be based in the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, serving as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1+ year of professional experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile app development.
• Understanding of PHP (preferably with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs integration and development.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Must have good programming knowledge with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A quick learner with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
