Consultancy Requirement: Carbon / GHG Calculation Specialist (VM0047 Methodology)

Sequerra Global is seeking the services of a highly qualified
Carbon Accounting / GHG Calculation Consultant
to support our large-scale
Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) project
under
Verra Methodology VM0047
.

Scope of Work:

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

  • Conducting
    baseline calculations,
    including biomass, soil, and carbon stock analysis.
  • Developing project-specific
    GHG quantification models/Emission Reduction Model
    in accordance with VM0047.
  • Preparing detailed
    calculation sheets, emission reduction estimates, and supporting documentation
    for the Project Design Document (PDD).
  • Ensuring full compliance with
    Verra guidelines, ICVCM Core Carbon Principles (CCPs), and emerging global best practices
    .
  • Coordinating with validation/verification bodies (VVBs) during project review and verification.

Consultant Profile:

We are looking for an individual (or team) with:

  • Proven expertise in
    carbon accounting and GHG inventories
    , especially within forestry and land-use sectors.
  • Direct experience with
    Verra VM0047
    (or equivalent methodologies under Verra, Gold Standard, CDM).
  • Strong understanding of
    MRV frameworks and carbon stock modelling tools
    .
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, auditable calculations under strict timelines.
  • Prior involvement in validated/verified carbon projects will be a strong advantage.
