About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Taxation to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be a CA Finalist with hands-on experience in tax compliance, corporate taxation, and regulatory filings. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of tax laws and practices in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax matters.
  • Ensure timely preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and handle audits, assessments, and notices.
  • Assist in tax planning, advisory, and risk management to optimize tax positions.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of tax laws, SROs, and regulatory changes.
  • Review and reconcile tax accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with finance and external auditors for financial statements and statutory audits.

Requirements

  • CA Finalist (ICAP) with relevant experience in taxation.
  • 2–4 years of practical experience in taxation, preferably in a reputable firm or corporate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of income tax, sales tax, and corporate tax regulations in Pakistan.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120, Rs150,000.00 per month
