Our client, a leading organization, is seeking an experienced
**Manager Taxation**
to oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax regulations in Pakistan, provide strategic tax advice, and liaise with relevant authorities to minimize risks and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting*

* Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect taxes, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax.

* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and reconciliations.

* Stay updated with evolving tax laws, circulars, and notifications from FBR and provincial authorities.

* Maintain complete and accurate documentation for audits and assessments.

Tax Audits & Litigation

* Represent the company before tax authorities during audits, assessments, and hearings.

* Collaborate with external tax consultants and legal advisors for ongoing litigation cases.

* Respond promptly to tax notices and inquiries, ensuring effective dispute resolution.

Stakeholder Management

* Liaise with FBR, PRA, SRB, KPRA, and other regulatory bodies.

* Coordinate with statutory auditors and external consultants on tax-related matters.

* Provide senior management with insights on tax risks, exposures, and potential savings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: L.L.B or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Experience: 6–10 years of progressive experience in taxation.
  • Strong command of Pakistani tax laws, including the Income Tax Ordinance and Sales Tax Act.
  • Proven experience in managing audits, assessments, and litigation.
  • *Proficiency in MS Excel and online tax filing portals.
