Role Overview:
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead new business acquisition, client relationship management, and strategic partnerships across the GCC region. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong commercial acumen and an understanding of trade marketing, merchandising, and activation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth through identifying, developing, and closing new client opportunities in retail, FMCG, and technology sectors.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets in the UAE and regional markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, marketing heads, and procurement teams of leading multinationals.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and cost structures aligned with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver customized trade marketing solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Represent MKTG at exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Contribute to strategic planning and product development of MKTG's AI-enabled retail platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within FMCG, retail, or marketing services sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large corporate accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technology-driven solutions and translate them into client value propositions.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of leading regional business initiatives independently.
