Role Description:

We are looking for a
dedicated and proactive Upwork Bidder
to join our team
onsite
. The Upwork Bidder will be responsible for identifying relevant
ROR and technology-related projects
on Upwork, writing compelling proposals, and securing contracts for our agency. This role involves close collaboration with our development and design teams to understand client requirements, prepare tailored bids, and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search and identify relevant
    ROR, web development, and tech projects
    on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Write customized and persuasive proposals to attract and convert clients.
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand their technical requirements and align them with DistrictNode's services.
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to prepare accurate project estimates, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain a pipeline of active bids and regularly update progress reports.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an
    Upwork Bidder, Business Development Executive, or Online Bidding Specialist
    in tech or ROR projects.
  • Strong understanding of
    Ruby on Rails, web/app development, SaaS, and digital solutions
    .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to craft
    clear, customized, and client-focused proposals
    for technical projects.
  • Proven track record of winning development projects on Upwork or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
    (preferred but not mandatory).
