Position Overview:

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to help identify and acquire clients through online freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and LinkedIn etc. This is an on-site position ideal for individuals who are tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how to generate business through digital channels. The intern will assist in preparing proposals, managing client communication, and tracking opportunities under the guidance of the business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search for relevant projects and client opportunities on freelancing websites.
  • Draft and submit professional proposals and bids as per company guidelines.
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand requirements and share company offerings.
  • Maintain records of bids, leads, and conversions in tracking sheets or CRM.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, development, accounting, etc.) for client deliverables.
  • Analyze platform trends and suggest ways to improve win rates and visibility.

Requirements:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of freelancing platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow bidding strategies.
  • Confident in using computers, web tools, and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Degree or ongoing studies in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
