Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for an Upwork Proposal Writer. The role involves crafting compelling and tailored proposals for various projects on Upwork, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end proposal process, conducting research to understand project scopes, writing clear, concise, and persuasive content, and submitting proposals in a timely manner. The role demands communication with clients to address inquiries, negotiate terms, and establish successful working relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Proposal Management and Proposal Writing
  • Strong skills in Technical Writing and crafting responses to RFPs
  • Effective Communication skills to liaise with clients and clarify project expectations
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with freelancing platforms such as Upwork is a plus
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, or similar software
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
