Upwork Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the Upwork profile to improve visibility and credibility.
- Search, shortlist, and evaluate relevant HR, recruitment, resume writing, and talent acquisition projects on Upwork.
- Write customized, high-quality proposals tailored to client needs with proper understanding of job requirements.
- Maintain a high response rate and engage in professional communication with prospects.
- Schedule discovery calls with potential clients and assist in closing deals.
- Maintain daily tracking of proposals submitted, responses received, conversions, and project status.
- Identify market trends on Upwork and recommend strategies to improve win rate.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery after winning a contract.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs set by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of proven experience
as an Upwork Bidder / Upwork Specialist / Online Business Development Executive. - Strong understanding of
Recruitment, HR services, Resume Writing, and Talent Acquisition
workflows. - Excellent proposal writing skills with the ability to customize proposals according to client requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (English – written & verbal).
- Ability to analyze project requirements and set appropriate pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with Upwork algorithms, profile optimization, and bidding best practices.
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in closing international clients is a plus.
