Position Summary:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the campus IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of the internal network, hardware, and related IT resources. The role requires strong expertise in network management, troubleshooting, and adherence to IT policies and security practices. The IT Executive will serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues at the campus and ensure alignment with organizational IT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the internal network of the campus.
  • Ensure uninterrupted connectivity and resolve network-related issues proactively.
  • Maintain firewalls, switches, access points, and other networking equipment.
  • Coordinate with central IT for upgrades and implementations.

Hardware & System Support

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and other IT hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of campus IT equipment.

IT Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure IT policies, security guidelines, and best practices are followed to the letter.
  • Implement data protection, backup, and access control protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems to ensure compliance and security.

User Support & Training

  • Act as the first line of IT support for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Guide end-users on proper usage of IT systems and software.
  • Provide support for online classes, digital platforms where required.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with the central IT team for escalations, updates, and implementations.
  • Report campus IT performance, issues, and compliance status to higher management.
  • Assist in new IT projects, installations, and system upgrades at the campus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management.
  • Hands-on experience with networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and policies.

  • Knowledge of IT compliance, security, and best practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
