spatially-aware device
that blends
perception, and control
into one seamless experience.

What You'll Own

As the
Founding Tech Lead
, you'll:

  • Architect and build the full system:
    vision → perception → control
  • Lead development from the first prototypes
  • Own decisions around platforms, CV pipelines, real-time control, and system scaling
  • Lead the hardware and software pieces of the platform
  • Debug complex problems across layers — from sensors to software

  • Mentor and grow the early engineering team

  • You'll define the product from zero to one.

  • This is NOT a role for passive contributors.
  • This is for hands-on builders who want to be
    in the room where it happens
    — and actually ship it.

What We're Looking For

You're a
hands-on technical generalist
with deep expertise in three or more of these areas:

  • Embedded Systems (Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and similar)
  • Home automation platform experience (OpenHAB, Home Assistant and similar)
  • Deep understanding of communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP and similar)
  • Linux Platform engineering (Linux, MQTT, and similar)
  • Computer Vision (MediaPipe, OpenCV, TensorRT, and similar)
  • Motion Control / Actuation (servo/stepper drivers, PID loops, and similar)
  • Edge Systems that require low-latency inference or control
  • Full-stack prototyping (Python, Node, C/C++)
  • Hands-on Git (branching, PRs/MRs, code reviews)
  • Practical Agile experience (sprint planning, standups, retros)

You have:

  1. An obsession to taking on difficult challenges and inventing your way to pragmatic solutions.
  2. Strong technical organization and communication skills.
  3. Proven ability to lead technical teams spanning across different technical domains.
  4. A sense of urgency in getting things done.
  5. 6+ years of experience shipping technically complex systems.
  6. Strong architecture instincts and comfort across software + hardware boundaries.
  7. A bias toward
    prototyping, testing in the real world
    , and
    iterating fast
    .

Bonus:

  • Experience with spatial computing, AR/VR interfaces, or robotic interaction
  • Comfort debugging messy sensor data or timing issues across subsystems
  • Passion for ambient tech, design, or post-screen computing
